Hubbard is directly south of us on 99E and it is one of the quickest towns for us to reach. Whiskey Hill Road and the farm roads out toward Broadacres are where most of the off-pavement and winch-out calls come from, especially in the wet months.
Hubbard is about five miles south of our yard, which makes it one of the shortest runs we make. What we get called for here splits three ways: breakdowns on 99E where the highway tightens up through town, rural calls out on Whiskey Hill and Broadacres, and ordinary driveway problems in the residential blocks either side of the highway.
The stretch of 99E between Hubbard and Woodburn carries steady truck traffic and there are places with almost no usable shoulder. If you stop on it, stay belted in with your hazards on and tell us which direction you were heading. On a two-lane highway that decides whether we come at you from the Aurora side or loop around, and it decides where we put the truck so you are not standing on the fog line.
Hubbard sits in hop and nursery country, and a good share of the calls out here finish on soft ground: a gravel drive that turned to mud, a field entrance that swallowed a wheel, a pickup backed into a ditch trying to turn around. Say on the phone that you are off pavement and roughly how far in. That is what decides whether we drive the flatbed straight to you or winch you out to firm ground first.
Hubbard has no freeway ramp of its own. The nearest I-5 access is the Woodburn interchange a few miles south, so a vehicle headed for a shop in Salem or Portland normally runs down 99E and picks up the freeway there. Most local tows are shorter than that: a shop in Woodburn or Canby, a driveway, or our yard until you decide.
Hubbard is close enough that calling at the right moment usually means a short wait. Call as soon as you know the vehicle is not moving under its own power. Waiting to see whether it sorts itself out only pushes the same call into a worse hour, and 99E is a great deal busier at five in the afternoon than it is at nine in the morning. Have three things ready and we can normally dispatch inside the same conversation.
We dispatch from 21158 OR-99E in Aurora and it is a straight run south, usually under ten minutes to the north end of town in normal traffic. Hop Festival weekend is the one predictable exception, when 99E backs up through the middle of Hubbard and we will tell you honestly what that does to your window rather than quote you a number that sounds better.

Hubbard is about five miles south of our yard on 99E, so it is one of the quicker runs we make. What actually decides the window is what is already out on a truck. Call and we will give you a real number rather than a comfortable one, and drop a pin if you can so we route the closest driver.
Yes. Dispatch runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, holidays included. A night call in Hubbard reaches a person, not a voicemail box.
Usually, yes, and this is a common Hubbard call. Tell us how far off pavement you are, how soft the ground is and whether the vehicle still rolls and steers. That tells us whether it is a straight load onto the flatbed or a winch-out to firm ground first.
It depends on distance, the vehicle and whether any recovery work is involved. Short local moves into Woodburn or Canby cost less than a run up I-5 to Portland. You get the number on the phone before a truck leaves the yard.
One call gets you a real person, a straight price and a truck on the way.
